Condition upon arrival: Yes this is the famous 68 car whos owner hates us - hates just about everyone we think. Car was in disassembled non-running condition when we bought the company and we "completed" the restoration. When we started many of the 68 only parts/trinkets had been replaced with 69 parts - sometime in its life prior to us looking at it. Front clip was incorrectly positioned on the firewall at some point in the past. Engine was rebuilt by someone else years earlier, both heads already showed signs of damage, with mismatched keepers, poorly knurled guides, etc.
Scope of work: FULL frame off restoration - heads rebuilt, exhaust size changed twice per owners request, color changed per owners request.
Duration of restoration? TOO LONG! (actual work performed 11 months) Cost of restoration? We didnt charge a dime - and he didnt offer to pay.
